Dr. Kenneth Arinaitwe, Environmental and Analytical Chemistry Expert, (email@example.com) holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Makerere University with specialization in environmental analytical chemistry. His doctoral research project involved profiling organic chemical contaminants in the atmospheric and aquatic environments of Lake Victoria. He teaches in the Department of Chemistry at Makerere University. His research interests include prevalence and fate of organic chemical contaminants in the tropical environment, the dynamic relationship between climate change and environmental chemical pollution, emerging chemical contaminants in the environment and their effects on wildlife and human health. In addition to CIRCODU’s research activities, his other interests includeenvironmental risk/impact assessment, agriculture & food safety and water & sanitation. He holds a Masters degree in Chemistry from Makerere University and a Bachelor’s degree in Science with Education from Mbarara University of Science and Technology. A professional teacher, Kenneth has also previously taught chemistry in secondary school. Kenneth previously served as a Program Coordinator on the Africa Executive Committee for World Academy (now Association) of Young Scientists (WAYS) and is associated with a number of professional bodies including the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC), Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), American Chemical Society (ACS) and Pan African Chemistry Network (PACN).
Dr. Denis Muhangi, Vice Chairman (firstname.lastname@example.org,
email@example.com): He holds a Doctor of Philosophy from Makerere University having researched on Epidemiology of Africa Swine Fever in Uganda and the factors responsible for its persistence. From 2016-2018, Denis will be a Post-doctoral fellow under the Sida-Makerere University research collaboration 2015-2020 following on his doctoral research. Mr.Atuyamba Alexander Agro Ecological Farming Systems Specialist.
